Al Horford just tallied the first 30 point game for the Hawks in over a year, the last coming on November 12th when Paul Millsap dominated his old team for the same amount.
Now, I know that the Hawks like to pass the ball and distribute the scoring equally amongst each other. DownToBuck appreciates that. But damn, man, they had 4 All-Stars on that team last year, and they couldn’t find it in themselves to put up a few 30-burgers? Not even Teague? We’re venturing away from “unselfishness” and heading into “just dumb” territory.
Now the streak has been broken, and we can all move on with our lives. Lives which should now include more of Big Al using his clout as a 30-point scorer to demand the ball on most possessions and show everyone how it’s done. Kyle, this is how you shoot threes.
