Now that Otto Porter is back from his thigh injury, he has reclaimed his basketball talents from Garrett Temple, who had temporarily stolen them in order to further his own basketball career. The rightful state of things has been restored; Otto Porter is an improving young player, and Garrett Temple is a guy who can’t score but isn’t quite a veteran yet, making his utility questionable. This is the way it should be.
Otto’s return to prominence did not, however, prevent Temple from getting thirty minutes as a starter. Sometimes I wonder what’s going over in Wittman’s head. I also sometimes wish that Otto would put the goggles back on so I wouldn’t get so confused when him and Temple are on the court at the same time.
