During tonight’s broadcast, Chicago commentator Stacey King said something like “you could consider Khris Middleton the Bucks’ best player”. He is wrong. A more accurate statement would be “Khris Middleton is definitely the Bucks’ best player”.
I may be falling victim here to recency bias, as Khash has been really good lately. But don’t forget that he was the best player on the team last year, and hasn’t had his position challenged unless you love plodding centers or still-developing physical specimens. He simply does it all, he can defend multiple positions, shoot the ever-loving FLIP out of the ball, and now he’s flashing some good passing ability as well (which I didn’t show in this video, despite my newly minted “Diamond Dimes” nickname for him). He has flaws, sure, but they are minor compared to the glaring ones present on every other player on the Bucks’ roster.
If you want to challenge me on this position, be advised that I am right and you are wrong.
