Right now the Magic are ruining Aaron Gordon’s development. Ruining. I mean, Gordon became a three-point shooter just so he would compare more favorably to Channing Frye. When your full-of-potential fourth-overall pick starts trying to reinvent himself as Channing Frye 0.5, that counts as you having ruined your young player’s development. If anything, Gordon should be turning himself into Blake Griffin 0.75. I only say that because they’re both light-skinned black men with really jacked arms who dunk it a lot.
Why on earth did the Magic sign the Fryeman to a big contract anyway? That dude should get traded to a playoff team to help them with spacing and then Aaron Gordon can get all the power forward minutes he deserves. Only then can the Magic un-ruin the ruined Aaron Gordon. Oh yeah, and they have to trade Andrew Nicholson to the Bucks too. Yeah. It’s the only way.
