Shabazz Muhammad 22 Points Full Highlights (1/8/2016)

Count me among those who thought that Shabazz Muhammad was going to be a bust when he came into the league with only one move, a lefty hook from ten feet. This was after he didn’t even win the NCAA tournament while at UCLA and after he had like ten hookers in his room at some NBA rookie program. Ten or twelve. Anyway, it was a lot. And drugs. I thought for sure that everybody had been tricked into thinking Shabazz was good by his scheming, succeed-at-all-costs father.

DTB is man, and as such, he can admit when he has made mistakes. Especially when it’s something trivial like projecting the success of basketball players. If I push away every woman in my life with mean words said with love, I don’t usually admit those mistakes, but calling Shabazz a bust so early in his career, yeah, that was pretty wrong of me. I probably even called him “Shabust” as some point.

Shabazz might never live up to his high school hype (which we now know was manufactured by his dad), but, being drafted in the late lottery, he’s actually turned out pretty good. I can say these things because I’m a man.

If you’re a real man and you feel like it, you can comment about times you were wrong and we can bond over it like bros.
