That’s it. DeAndre Jordan’s 360-game streak ends thanks to a made-up non-disease called “pneumonia”. I just looked it up and it doesn’t exist. There’s probably some deeper conspiracy going on here, but honestly, I got tired of doing investigative reporting after I found out some stuff about Andrea Bargnani and pasta smuggling rings. Don’t ask. If you knew, they’d have to kill you like they tried to kill me. Let’s just say that Primo pasta and sauce isn’t so “primo”.
So who gets to start in place of the “sick” DeAndre Jordan? Cole “Aldrich Horror” Aldrich, of course! This game simply proves what we already knew, that Chris Paul can make any big man look decent as long as said big man has semi-soft hands and some sort of mobility. Aldrich is probably still a bust, but his ability to perform adequately when given anything more than the most minimal of minutes means that he should stick around for a few more years as a bench guy.
