Trey Burke 25 Points Full Highlights (1/18/2016)

There’s something special about 25 points. Maybe because it’s one-fourth of the way to Wilt’s 100, or maybe it’s because quarters are objectively the best type of coin. Whatever the reason, you should be glad that Trey Burke got that last free throw to go in, because there was no way I was doing highlights if he only scored 24.

The difference between 24 and 25 is the difference between a mediocre performance (remember, DownToBuck does not deal in mediocrity) and a good performance. Compare these two sentences:

“Kobe Bryant selfishly chucked his way to 24 points as the Lakers lost.”

“Kobe Bryant placed the team on his back, scoring an efficient 25 in a decisive Lakers win.”

Yeah. Case closed.
