The 2009-10 Rookie of the Year award was a three-man race by the end. Two of those players, Tyreke Evans and Brandon Jennings, faced off tonight, both long departed from their original teams. Tyreke showed why he was ROY; he put up 22 and 10, compared to the still-recovering Brandon’s 20 and 5. The voters got that one right, definitely.
I don’t really remember what happened to the third guy in that race. He played for the Warriors back then, I think. Steve something. Playing in Europe now, I bet.
