A disturbing amount of assists in the video take the form of “imma drive into the paint oh damn its crowded in here turn around and throw it back out to that big who is just hanging out back there wow he canned the jumper”. He also had some nicer ones, but since I’m a negative Nancy whose heart is consumed entirely by morosity, those are the ones I’m going to focus on.
Yeah, he should, uh, not drive to the basket without a concrete plan of escape. Or something. I don’t know. Easy to say, harder to implement.
Another thing he could do to improve his game: make some threes. I saw that pre-draft workout video where he was splashing endless jumpers. I know he can do it. Just be confident or whatever. Gotta be positive.
