Whenever I hear the name “Joe Young”, all I ever think of is Sam Young, the little-used and little-known player whose last season in the league was in 2012-13 with Indiana, coincidentally my first year making highlight videos. I looked him up and last I can tell, he was dropping 20 PPG all over some Italian dudes in the league they have going on over there. His team’s name is “Pasta Reggia Caserta” in case you’re interested. Or in case you’re hungry.
But Sam Young is not Joe Young no matter how much my brain tries to trick me into thinking it. It’s quite possible that Joe Young has made more of a contribution to wins so far in his young career than Sam Young ever did.
