Seth Curry 11 Points/5 Assists Full Highlights (3/16/2016)

Time for a thought experiment:

How many assists would a hypothetical point guard on the best team in the league acquire when presented with these targets to pass to:

Klay Thompson (elite shooter)
Andrew Bogut (lobs)
Draymond Green (jack-of-all-trades)
Harrison Barnes (pretty much Andrew Wiggins)

Surely the point guard of that team would put up at least 15 assists, if not 20. How about a rarely-utilized guard who is really more of a shooter, passing it to these players:

DeMarcus Cousins (murderous headcase)
Quincy Acy (Assy)
Kosta Koufos (bald)
Darren Collison (career backup)

Even wringing 1 assist out of this horrid collection of “players” would be considered a major victory. Now, prepare to have your mind blown:

The first PG is Stephen Curry, reigning MVP. He managed to collect only 4 dimes with the lineup detailed above. The second PG? None other than Seth Curry, oft-forgotten younger brother of Steph. He went above and beyond the call of duty and picked up 5 dimes, miraculously allowing the decrepit corpse collection known as the Sacramento Kings to score 5 buckets by his actions.

Who’s the real MVP here?
