Is there any player in the NBA who looks less like an NBA player than Joe Ingles? There probably are a few who are just as hangdog and flabby, but it really struck me while making this vid that Jinglin’ Joe looks like that barely-mobile fat dude at the Y, at least compared to the physical specimens that comprise most of the NBA.
Not hating or anything. I love Ingles. It’s great to see an NBL (that’s the Aussie basketball league for you cloistered foreigners out there, aw, who am I kidding, everyone watching this vid is Australian) player make it all the way to the NBA. Shane Heal just wasn’t cutting it for me.
