Frank Jackson 12 Points Full Highlights (11/19/2018)

The crappy thing about sitting out your entire rookie season is that people tend to forget about you when you finally do come back. Unless you’re a player like Blake Griffin or Ben Simmons, people get distracted by the next crop of rookies and leave you cold, alone, and unloved. Sorry, Frank Jackson, but outside of Pelicans fans, I don’t think anyone remembers you exist anymore.

It didn’t help that he only played one Summer League game before getting injured again. Summer League is where chuckers like him get to make their impact and make people acknowledge them at least briefly. So far, everything’s going against him, but he’s still “getting dem checks” as they say, so it could be worse.

He’s in the NBA for real now, and he can do some things. He had 14 earlier in the season on way too many free throws, and now he has 12 in a way more highlight-friendly manner. I’ll leave it up to you as to if you agree with the Pelicans commentator when he says his jumper looks different. Only real diehard fans of scrubby role-players/Pelicans fans will even remember his “old” form, if it is indeed any different.
