Richaun Holmes 15 Points/4 Blocks Full Highlights (12/2/2018)

Richaun “Rich Holmie Chaun” Holmes flashed some uncomfortable-looking, but reasonably effective, three-point range in his second year in the league. That was the last year of The Process in Philadelphia, and players who weren’t three-point shooters were being encouraged to develop that skill. That was the one and only time in Holmes’ career where he was an acceptable long-rage shooter; he regressed badly after that as he was placed in a reduced role and Joel Embiid stole the “three-point shooting center” mantle from him.

I bring all this up because I live in constant fear of Holmes somehow regaining his ability to shoot threes. Normally, if he were to regain that ability, I would be happy for him because I would be able to show some jumpshots in between all the dunks and layups that comprise his highlight videos. However, he currently plays for the Suns, and their commentator’s corporate-sponsored catchphrase for made three-pointers (which I will not dare to repeat here, for every utterance of it brings me one step closer to the abyss of insanity) is almost video-ruining in its grating repetetiveness.

If Fulton Homes ever mandates that another, different, but still self-congratulatory, phrase needs to be said after dunks, I will never make Phoenix Suns highlights ever again. Or I’ll just use the opposing team’s feed all the time.
