I had closed all my highlight-making programs and was ready to call it quits for the day when I randomly remembered that Semi Ojeleye had tied a career-high in points with thirteen. So, begrudgingly, I reopened all those programs and got to working making this video. And now I’m begrudglingly writing a video description to go along with the video which I begrudgingly uploaded to my channel.
Given how little Ojeleye has shown in the NBA, it wouldn’t surprise me if this ended up being his career-high forever. However, part of his problem is that he plays on a deeply-stacked team. Maybe he’s just another Jeff Adrien, waiting for a team to whisk him away from Boston and to somewhere where he can get minutes. If you gave him twenty-five minutes per game on a consistent basis, he would have choice to score more than thirteen. Any NBA player, given those minutes over the course of a month or two, would be able to score at least fourteen unless their name is Chris Smith.
Now I’m wondering if I would do a Thon Maker for Semi Ojeleye trade. Hmm. I think I probably would. Remember, Jeff Adrien got to the Bucks and magically became good (like, way better than I ever would have expected) so I think Ojeleye could do the same. And if not, well, at least we don’t have Thon anymore.
