Matthew Dellavedova 15 Points Full Highlights (12/12/2018)

It’s good to see Matthew Dellavedova re-finding himself now that he’s back in Cleveland. Things just weren’t working out in Milwaukee, he wasn’t the type of point guard they needed anymore. He was barely playing this year, only getting in the game in garbage time up until right before the trade when we apparently decided that we needed to showcase him a little bit.

I never really liked him in Milwaukee, to be honest. Part of my dislike for him was because of his contract (which was huge considering how good he actually is, which isn’t very), and part of it was because his shot form is so janky looking. He’s like a trebuchet with legs out there.

Cavaliers fans have way more of an attachment to him (for good reason) than Bucks fans ever could. Dellavedova was the hero for one of their Finals appearances, putting up several iconic (like, actually iconic, I’m not exaggerating) performances and heroically defending Stephen Curry so hard that he had be hospitalized for dehydration. How could anything he did with the Bucks top that? Plus, he won a chip.

Now he’s back home, where his real friends are, and it’s like he never left. LeBron may be gone, but Tristan Thompson is still there and ready to catch lobs. He’s scored 11 and now 15 in his first two games, the latter performance being so good that the Cleveland faithful were compelled to give him “MVP” chants. Slightly patronizing, but that’s okay. They just love their Delly Treys.
