Danny Green is currently sitting at 9.9 points per game, just .1 points per game away from the magical milestone of ten points per game. I don’t know how anybody expects him to score fractions of a point given that the smallest denomination of points awarded in a standard-rules basketball contest is 1, but I’m gonna let that slide now. What I won’t let slide is the fact that, if Green manages to eclipse the 10 PPG threshhold, that will mean big changes for him. Not just in his personal life (girls would love to double up on a dude who averages double digits in the NBA0, but for the availability of his highlights on the YouTube video sharing website.
It’s a well-known rule that DTB does not make videos for players who score more than ten points per game. This channel is for true scrubs only It’s not, and never has been, for players who score double-digit points on a regular basis. I have held steadfast on this rule since my channel’s inception seven years ago. I challenge you to find even one video for a player, out of the thousands I have uploaded on my old channel and my new one, that was made while the player was, at that moment, averaging double-digit scoring. It will be a fruitless exercise for you because there exist no such videos.
If Green wants to continue receiving the coveted DTB highlightage, he will have to be careful with his scoring output the next couple games. If he starts passing up open looks for seemingly no reason, well, now you know the reason.
