Kevin “Huert Feelings” Huerter really looks like someone who should be playing for the Boston Celtics right now. I don’t know what it is, but there’s just something about him that screams “BOSTON!”. Is it the fact that he shoots threes and the Celtics could use more three-point shooters? That doesn’t seem quite right, somehow. Oh well. I’ll keep thinking about it him and his inherent-yet-unknowable Bostonian-ness.
So instead of playing for the Celtics, he kicked their butt (how does the nickname “Butthuert” work for everybody?). His team didn’t win the game, but it’s hardly his fault that the Hawks’ front office deliberately constructed a team that wasn’t intended to win games. He did the best he could out there, tying a career-high that he set just last game with 19 points.
Part of the reason for this had to be because his dad was in attendance. For some people, that would increase their performance quality, like in Huerter’s case. In my case, I would wither and fade under the new scrutiny. I mean, if my dad was watching me make highlights, I would fall apart and forget how to do any of the many steps I need to do. No, I have to undertake this undertaking by myself.
Also, I’m sorry that there’s a huge black bar on the left side of this video. I don’t know what was going on with the camerawork that caused it, but I swear I’m not trying to censor anything.
