Astute viewers will notice something absent from the title of this video. That’s right: I neglected to include the qualifier “Career High”, even though 32 points is indeed Luka Doncic’s career high in points scored.
After much introspection and soul-searching, I was able to accumulate in one place enough of the mysterious substance called “optimism” and use it to convince myself that this will not be the most points that Doncic ever scores in his career. Thanks to this “optimism” which I didn’t even know was within me, I expect him to score more. Maybe even this season he will surpass 32 points. That’s how much optimism I was able to gather for myself. It was hard work, searching the deepest crevices of my psyche for the precious essence of optimism, but I was able to do it.
I may have been catatonic for up to two hours while I explored the labyrinthine passages of my consciousness. I hope my kitty Japurri wasn’t too worried.
Unfortunately, I have now used all my reserves of optimism on the Suave Slovenian, Luka Doncic. Copious deposits of pessimism remain, but my hope and optimism? Gone. Other players will not be able to benefit from it until my natural stores of the stuff are given a chance to replenish themselves. The description for my upcoming J.J. Barea video will likely dwell on the fact that he is too short to properly win a fight against Andrew Bynum.
