Almost a quarter of the runtime of this video is devoted to Lauri Markkanen dunking on Nikola Vucevic and the ensuing replays/amusing commentary from Stacey King. They even brought out the Poster Machine! I guess I had forgotten that the Poster Machine was an actual thing they did and not just a fun turn of phrase for when a Bulls player really dunked on somebody hard.
King just really loves Markkanen, you can tell. It’s almost embarrassing. I don’t know which Bulls player he was calling out by way of heaping praise onto Markkanen, but I agree that he is a franchise cornerstone. Not too sure about Wendell Carter (or Zach LaVine) also being a cornerstone, but I cut that part out so you guys could think that Markkanen is the only one.
I was going to look up how to say “Merry F***ing Christmas” in Finnish, because that’s probably what Markkanen said to Vucevic after rubbing his nuts all over his face, but then I remembered how awful that language is and how I never want to sully my channel with it ever again. I can guess that they probably call “Christmas” some variation of “Yule”, because they’re dirty pagans who don’t even appreciate Christians coming into their lands centuries ago and converting all the pagan festivals into religious holidays. And I bet the word “Perkele” is involved, even if I don’t know what that means.
