I can’t tell what I’m seeing with Cedi Osman. Is he good? Is he bad? Is this potential we’re seeing, or just the random noise produced when you put any semi-talented player in the NBA? Is he Mongolian? Is he Turkish? Is he a direct descendant of Attila, or Suleiman? Is he Kyle Korver, or is he Rafael Araujo? There are so many questions, and this game brings me no answers.
What we do know, what we know as a supposedly 100-percent established fact, is that he tied a career-high tonight. If I had known that, I would’ve gotten this video up a lot sooner, but I swear he had 23 once. Don’t you all remember that time he scored 23? If you do, welcome to the club where things that definitely happened in the NBA disappear randomly from the loosely-woven fabric of reality.
Another thing that we know: that dunk he had for his final bucket with a minute left is totally going in my end-of-month dunkilation. We’ll see if the NBA has enough balls to join me in including it. Probably not. They would rather show 20 slow-mo replays of a lame LeBron dunk over showcasing a mammoth poster from someone like Osman.
