For some reason, the Raptors TV people just love using really zoomed-in shots of Pascal Siakam for their broadcast. I thank them for that, because it makes my job of gathering potential thumbnail images much easier, but it’s also kinda weird. And they don’t seem to do it as much with other players, like it’s just Siakam on the Raptors who we should be caring about.
Which is true at least for me. He’s the best. Everyone else on that team can screw off. Especially Kawhi Leonard. We know you were faking it, bitch. Don’t try to pretend you weren’t. And don’t you dare rest for the upcoming game against the Spurs in San Antonio.
But back to the blown-up face of Siakam on our television screens. It gets to be a little much sometimes. And I admit I’m perpetuating the problem by using the images for my thumbnails. If they could cut it down a bit, maybe use the time to show replays of people dunking it instead, that might make for a better viewing experience. People don’t watch the NBA to see what these players actually look like.
