Alex Len 19 Points/3 Threes Full Highlights (11/30/2018)

Alex Len has valiantly attempted to remain NBA-relevant by adding a three-point shot to his game this year. He sort of had one last year (wait, two years ago, and I’m totally exaggerating because he only shot 12 the whole season), but it seems like he’s being encouraged to shoot it a bit more with the Hawks. If only to supply Trae Young with more assists.

So good for him. It’s not making him any better of a player, in fact he’s probably worse than last year, but there are always teams looking for a big guy who can shoot. Always. Literally all of the time. You could offer him to any team on maybe a 3 million dollar contract while saying he won’t count against the player limit and every team would take him.

Hopefully the team that ended up signing him would be a winning one, because he hasn’t been doing a whole lot of that these last few years. The three years prior to this one were brutal for him, and this one might be even worse. Either he’s desensitized to losing and can go out and do his job without caring about the outcome, or he’s been in a major depressive episode for the better part of four years.

He might look like he’s crying in the thubmanil, but I’m betting it’s the former.
