James McAdoo 11 Points Warriors Debut Full Highlights (1/19/2015)

Perfect timing for James McAdoo. He gets his NBA callup, the dream for all D-Leaguers. Normally you wouldn’t expect a player like him to get minutes right away, but the Warriors did him a favor and blew out the Nuggets so bad that he got to play a whole quarter and change! Nothing like some no-pressure minutes to shake off the nervousness and assert your will on the basketball court.

This performance puts him up there for highest scoring debut by a rookie this year, ahead of luminaries like Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker, and tied with Aaron Gordon. That kind of speaks to how disappointing this rookie class has been, but also to how it’s possible for any no-name to score points if you set them loose for a while.
