If there is one bit of advice I can offer to any fan of any NBA team, it is this: never, EVER, complain about the refs. EVER. Even if you’re right, even if “everyone” agrees with you, even if a ref literally punched a player and then ejected him for contact with a ref. Just don’t ever do it. It is not a good look.
I am not saying this to try and sound superior to anybody. I simply am pointing out that, since every fanbase equally thinks they are victims of reffical discrimination, that you’re not likely to garner any sympathy. And if you’re one of those people who tries to hide their homerism with “the refs were bad on both sides”, then you’re a huge douchenozzle. No one is fooled by your enlightened centrism.
With all the said, the refs from tonight can go eat a huge bag of dongs. I can point to at least 10 bad calls made against the Bucks that directly cost them the game. If not 20. They were horrible, and you know what? They’ve been horrible all year, blatantly trying to rob the Bucks of hard earned wins. There must be a mandate from the league office to try and screw them over at every opportunity. The Bucks would be undefeated if Adam Silver didn’t have it out for the city of Milwaukee and the whole state of Wisconsin.
