Again, my hastiness to make highlights of end-of-bench players makes me look stupid. I just wanted to make Travis Wear vids, and I didn’t care how meager his point outputs were. 11 points? I doubted that he would score much more than that, ever, so up it went.
Now look. 21 points? I guess I should have known, given that the Knicks are content to put a D-League team on the court at MSG. Still. 21 points. I’d say that this is a comparable feat to Wilt’s 100, given the relative talent levels of the players involved.
What I really wanted was to hear was some “MVP” chants. Nothing would shame the Knicks’ management like sarcastically chanting for Travis Wear as they get blown out again. That’s worse than a million paper bags.
