DownToBuck is all about honesty. He never tells lies and he never perpetuates false rumors. Everything he says is firmly grounded in factual facts. He even features a so-called “DTB’s Honesty Hour” in his descriptions, such is the depth and solidity of his honesty. So believe him when he says this:
I was so hyped after the Bucks ended the Warriors’ 24-game winning streak that I had to just sit and not do anything for like fifteen minutes before I could settle down enough to make highlights. I couldn’t even scritch my cat Japurri. I just sat there while he meowed.
To borrow and modify a phrase from Kyrie Irving, is this what the Finals are like? I was all tingly. Is that the feeling you get when your team does something good? I thought I was having a stroke.
More DTB truth nuggets: I was so nervous watching this game that if something weird happened and the Bucks made the Finals in my lifetime, I don’t think I could even bear to watch. I might make it through the first quarter of Game 1 before the anxiety made me switch to the Weather Channel. Maybe I’m just not cut out to be a fan of any one team.
