I saw Stanley Johnson had 14 points in the first half against the Heat, and I immediately thought to myself “Hot damn we gonna get some Stanley Johnson highlights up in this bizzitch! Can you say career high?”. I actually said it out loud, not just thought it in my head. And I really sort of screamed it. I don’t think my hot latina neighbor appreciated it.
I even prewrote a sweet description where Stanley makes a trip to the “Hall of the 30 point scorers”, which is kind of like Valhalla and Harry-Potter-Meets-Dumbledore-In-The-Afterlife mixed together. It even included a really deep philosophical conversation between him and Carlos Delfino. After I finished that up, I started watching. And watching. Pretty soon, the game was over, and Stanley had failed to score even one more point.
I deleted the description out of anger, but I made these highlights anyway, in accordance with the promise I made to myself during the halftime break. Sorry that they suck, don’t blame me.
