I’m gonna be honest with you:
These might be the most unentertaining rookie-year 23 point highlights that I’ve ever seen. It’s just not fun to watch at all. Yeah, it’s Frank Kaminsky, and yeah, he’s scoring a career-high in points. That description is way more fun than the video itself.
Maybe I’ve been watching too many Porzingis, Okafor, and Towns highlights. After watching those dudes score 20-plus, Frank seems so pedestrian. A couple easy layups, a couple instances of him bullying R.J. Hunter and Jonas Jerebko, and some threes. Yawn. Where are the dunks? Where are the post moves against defenders who aren’t garbage? Threes are cool, I guess.
Watch this if you must, but don’t blame me when you come away from it feeling unfulfilled.
