Thanks to a Korveresque 2-of-4 excursion behind the long line last night, Norris Cole has raised his three-point percentage from 19% to 23%. That’s a big improvement. If he can go 2-of-4 every game and thereby gain four percentage points every game, it won’t be very long until he’s shooting better than Curry. I’ve double- and triple-checked the math and it all checks out, so don’t worry about. Numbers don’t lie.
Cole’s flattop is also looking a little bit taller than the last time I was paying attention. If he can keep gaining two inches on that thing every week or so, by the end of the season there will be a new strategy in New Orleans: prop the ball on top of Norris’ hair and have him lay it up that way. I’m serious as hell right now. You would never get the ball away from him without falling. This is like the Shaq-Boykins offense except way better.
