As fan voting for the All-Star game draws to a close, we can be sure of one thing:
Arron Afflalo didn’t get in.
If voters had a conscience, they would attempt to atone for their mistakes in the 2013-14 season, where they failed to ensure that Arron would receive a berth, even though he was scoring over 20 points per game at that point. In a weak conference for shooting guards, no less. There was no excuse for their oversight; now, he will be forever denied the privilege.
His stats this year might not be good enough in the traditional sense. But is that stopping people from voting for Kobe Bryant or DeMarre Carroll? No. This whole situation makes me sick.
