Think about how excited you would be if you watched Wilt score his 100 points in a single game. Very excited, right? You’d be going nuts, and you’d be recording it with your magic rectangle from the future so that future generations could enjoy the footage.
Now think about how excited you would be if, a year or so later, you watched him score 80 points in a single game. Not very excited at all, correct? It would seem like such a lame accomplishment compared to scoring 100. Only notable to die-hard Wilt nuthuggers.
That is how I felt watching Trevor Ariza hit 8 threes tonight against the Pelicans. I had to stifle some HUGE yawns just compiling this drudgery. We already saw him hit 10 of the things two years ago. You can even find the highlights if you search my channel. THAT performance was exciting. This performance, to put it bluntly, sucks donkey dong.
