Remember when Marvin Williams was viewed as a downgrade from Josh McRoberts? Now, McRoberts is buried on the Heat bench and is riddled with enough injuries to grant him admittance to a nursing home, while Marvelous Marvin has got a cushy starter’s job and as minimal a role in the offense as he wants. Batum can be the point-forward in the offense and Marvin doesn’t have to worry about making passes or anything hard like that. Plus, Marvin grabbed fourteen rebounds in a game recently. When was the last time McRoberts did something like that? Probably never. I’m not going to check though.
Sometimes, against all odds, justice can be served in this cruel and unfair universe. This is one of those times.
