Magic Johnson with ATHLETICISM. That’s what Aaron Gordon is. People might be leery of making such a comparison. And for good reason. We may be selling Gordon way short here.
This revelation makes lots of things seem different. “Aaron Gordon was mercilessly benched by Scott Skiles who hates him” is a fairly inoffensive sentence, since Gordon at this point is mostly an unknown, and the benching of unknowns evokes little sympathy. “Magic Johnson with athleticism was mercilessly benched by Scott Skiles who hates him” is a much more hard hitting sentence, even if the meaning is exactly the same. How could you bench even a normal Magic Johnson, much less a Magic Johnson with athleticism? Skiles looks like a real meatball now.
