Monte Morris 20 Points Full Highlights (12/10/2018)

OFFICIAL MONTE MORRIS ASSIST-TO-TURNOVER RATIO WATCH UPDATE: Monte Morris’ assist-to-turnover ratio is now at 5.68 to 1, dropping slightly because of his 5-assist, 1-turnover performance tonight.

I previously and ignorantly thought his incredible safety with the ball was a fluke, but apparently he was doing the same exact thing in college, even setting records in the category multiple times. He was at 5.21 in his final year at… Iowa State, no wonder I hadn’t heard about this, which is the best ever. I can’t find the assist-to-turnover ratio record for the NBA, so for now I’ll just assume that Morris is setting it right now.

So we know he can take care of the ball. But now it turns out he can score as well! With the addition of a healthy dose of double-digit scoring games, he’s turning into one of the most underrated players in the league. He’s, like, the perfect PG for a team that already has some studs at other positions (like the Nuggets). And, he’s on a super cheap deal for two more years after this. There’s nothing to dislike with this dude.
