Evan Fournier 24 Points Full Highlights (12/15/2018)

If I’m a citizen of Mexico City this morning, I’m asking for a GOD-DAMN refund for that horrible basketball game that I was forced to endure. Or at least a three-fourths refund. The last quarter of play was acceptable (the Magic outscored the Jazz 41-30) but the first three quarters were an insult to the fine people of Mexico.

It was 55-59, Jazz’s favor, after three quarters of play. In this era of the NBA, where even the worst teams regularly score above 100 points, this is not only inexcusable, it is an insult to all spectators of the game. I don’t know what ticket prices were like, but they would have to have been in the low single digits (American currency, I don’t know what the exchange rate is to Mexicurrency) for the price of admission to have been worth it. If Mexico City had to pay the same prices that London had to pay for tickets, that would be grounds for a class-action lawsuit.

The only possible upside I can see to this at all is that attendees of this game could spend the first three quarters standing in line for fresh, hot, crispy churros and not worry about missing anything exciting.

Evan Fournier’s role in all this? Franco-Mexican relations just hit a new low and Mexico pulled their ambassador out of the Mexican embassy in Paris. Good job baldy.
