The best thing about highlights is, by their very definition, they only show the good aspects of players. As had been proven many a time, a well-edited highlight package can make ANYONE look good. Hell, if you recorded me playing pickup ball at the gym for a month, you would probably get enough stuff to put together a HoopMixTape-quality package that would get everyone hyped for the next great white point guard.
What I’m trying to say is, Enes Kanter really sucks on defense, but no one even has to know if they only watch highlights. At least, until some enterprising YouTuber slaps together a montage of Kanter’s most egregious defensive lapses and misleadingly includes the word “highlights” in the title.
I would never do such a thing. I have never strayed from the path of only showing the positive side of NBA players in my videos.
