It’s pretty much the most hilarious thing ever that Lou Williams, Nick Young, and Kobe Bryant are on the same team. I don’t think you could find a player in the league, much less three of them, who chuck as many bad shots as one of those three. It’s like a chuckfecta. Given the way Lou was willing to shoot in this game, he probably would have scored at least thirty if he hadn’t been benched in the fourth quarter. It’s kind of like how Steph Curry gets benched in the fourth quarter but for entirely different reasons.
I keep telling myself that Lakers fans are humans too and that I shouldn’t cavort and splash about in their rivers of tears. They deserve to have fun watching basketball as much as everybody else even if they do have the benefit of having watched four decades straight of nonstop super-teams. Then I remember that Sports Illustrated cover with Steve Nash and Dwight Howard on it that said “Now THIS is Going to be Fun” and I can’t help it. I want Lakers fans to suffer like I have suffered.
