Fret not, Jordan Clarkson fans. It is only a matter of time before your quarter-Filipino idol becomes the Lakers’s shooting guard of the future. Kobe will be retiring soon. Nick Young and Lou Williams are still, regrettably, under contract for a few more years, but those deals can be moved. Or you can just bench Young and play Williams as a backup combo guard only. Then we will be treated to a glorious future of Clarkson being the Lakers’ go-to scorer for the next decade while playing free of the burden of having to try to pass to his teammates.
