Malik Beasley is still only 22! And he was 21 when the season started! I’m excited now. This new information has made me excited for Best Beasley. It took him a while to really get going, but now he’s a legit rotation piece on one of the best teams in the league. And he’s only 22! Did I mention that? That means he still has a ton of years to get better.
Or, if you’re a pessimist, that means he still has a ton of years to get worse. I mean, everybody does; LeBron will probably spend more of his life getting worse at basketball than he did getting better at it. And now I’m sad. Why can’t basketball be one of those things where you can still perform at a high level when you’re 60? Scientists: stop jacking yourselves off with un-replicable psychology experiments and give us some god-damn anti-aging cream or something. So we can jack ourselves off with it and have immortal dongs.
We’re getting off track: Malik Beasley! He didn’t want to let the Nuggets lose tonight, hitting threes on three consecutive possessions with a minute left in the game. The Spurs hit all their free-throws, and then he finally missed, but it was fun while it lasted. And, of course, Nuggets fans will remember the time Jamal Murray did that against the Trailblazers in a loss. That was back when Murray was bricking everything, and now look at him. This is a good omen for Beasley, who is still only 22 years old!
