Am I seeing things or did Jonas Valanciunas just take the hugest dump EVER right on Joel Embiid’s face? The full title for this vid should be “Jonas Valanciunas 26 Points/1 Mondo Lithuanian DUMP Full Highlights (12/5/2018)”, just to give people a more accurate idea of what they’re getting into before clicking on this vid.
Valanciunas only played 17 minutes tonight, but that was all the time he needed to expose JoeLLL EmbiigBaby as a fraud in front of a national TV audience. The commentators tried to brush it off as “he looks a step slow tonight”, unaware or unwilling to acknowledge that Valanciunas was straight up dominating him without even trying.
Despite the utter crushing that Valanciunas delivered to Embiid’s testiculars, I still think he didn’t play enough minutes. He maybe didn’t need to play more tonight, but he definitely needs to play more in general. I can’t blame Dwayne Casey for this anymore. I can try, but I’m busy blaming him for not playing Henry Ellenson now (I don’t care if he tweaked his shot form and now he’s garbage on both ends, I want to see for myself god damn it). Nick Nurse apparently subscribes to the same school of thought as Casey, that Valanciunas’ defensive inadequacies make him only a role-player.
Which is wrong, but I’m too tired to debate the point right now. You all agree with me anyway so it’s not you I need to be convincing. Does anyone know any contact person for the Raptors that isn’t just ticket sales reps? For some reason they aren’t interested in my disapproval of Nurse’s playing time allocations.
