Gary “Kobe 0.6” Neal is continuing to play well and continuing to make me look like a fool for hating on him constantly for the past four years. I could gloat over his career-low assist percentage, but it would feel a little petty given that he’s currently nailing 45% of his three-pointers, so there should be no reason for him to pass to his lesser teammates. I could also take issue with his abysmal shot selection, but that abysmal shot selection is earning him a sweet 48% from the field, so all these pull-up jumpers are working for him.

It’s not usually my style to actively hope that players perform badly, since I am in the business of highlighting players who play well, but I do wish that Gary Neal would regress back to his career averages just so I don’t look like some know-nothing idiot who talks out of his butthole. I mean, he can’t keep making all these jumpshots, can he?
